Direct integration: Facebook Lead Ads troubleshooting

This article helps you out when the Facebook Lead Ads integration gives you trouble.

Written by David Terrey

The Facebook Lead Ads direct integration in LeadTable occasionally throws errors that are outside our control during setup.

This article lists the possible causes.

The most common one is the test lead failing to generate. That normally comes down to missing access rights. Expand the section below for the details and a fix:

The test lead won’t generate

Please use the testing tool Facebook provides to test the connection. It gives us a lot more information from Meta about what might be wrong.

Create a test lead there, then click "Track Status":

If you get the screen below, wait 20 seconds and click Track Status again:

If you see "Status 103/CRM access has been revoked", have a look at the sub-section below.

Status 103/CRM access has been revoked

This is about the following error:

Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Click Settings at the bottom left

  2. Select Integrations > Leads Access

  3. Depending on whether you or your client manages the page, standard access needs restoring there:

Otherwise, send us a screenshot of the result and we’ll take a look.

Another one that crops up now and again: the page you want isn’t listed in the dropdown. That’s also about access rights, except this time it’s us who are missing them, because we have no access to newly created pages. It’s easy to fix. Just open the section below:

The page I want isn’t listed

The problem lies in how the connection was created. If a connection already exists, go to settings and open the "General" tab to renew it. If you’re creating a new connection, skip the next screenshot.
That’s where you renew the connection:

In the pop-up that follows, click "Edit previous settings":

All available businesses need to be selected on the connection:

Then do the same for the pages on the next screen:

If these steps don’t solve it, get in touch in the chat support and we’ll take a closer look at your specific case.
